Pam Godwin’s writing, as always, is engrossing and keeps you on your toes. They add authenticity and weight to the characters’ emotions, as well as meaning to the plot. More than ever, I loved, loved, loved how songs are thoughtfully selected and seamlessly integrated into the storyline. I finally came to the conclusion that both of them are decent men, and realistically there is no wrong choice although, my heart was drawn to one man in particular. I must say these men bring sexy back in a big way! Thankfully, there’s a lack of manipulation and deception that was very present in the previous book. I enjoyed seeing the dominant side of Cole and Trace on full display.

Some actions she, Cole, and Trace take seem to be on the extreme/ridiculous side. She’s still incredibly indecisive, so once again I found myself having my feelings jerked up and down, then back and forth. Choose? Dunh-dunh-duunnhh!ĭanni is on an emotional roller coaster and, honestly, I didn’t always enjoy taking that ride with her this time around. The time has finally come to end this angst-filled love triangle.

Danni has been torn between her first love, Cole, and the man who taught her to love again, Trace. Three is a War marks the end of the Tangled Lies trilogy. I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering. The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight. Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me. The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite.
